ISA reveals the three aces
What if in a time when the economic recession is the worst syndrome a company announces a great sales success? Is it trying to cheat the market or just doing a good job? We leave you the answer… Reality is that in few months between mid-2011 and early 2012 ISA sold 3 large yachts… But this is not the news. The news is that they are BRAND NEW models, from BRAND NEW series, resulting from the deep qualitative research and innovation in design made during the current economical crisis by the company. Moreover, one of these new builds was sold to repetitive clients, which is the result of ISA’s constant search for the design/client’s satisfaction. Last but not least, amongst these three new builds there is the largest vessel ever commissioned to ISA and sold in 2012. The three new builds are:
ISA 41 METERS CLASSIC
ISA 66 METERS GRANTURISMO
ISA 54 METERS CUSTOM
ISA 41 METERS CLASSIC - Designed by Andrea Vallicelli, the 41 meter developed from the 39 meter platform is a three-deck displacement motor yacht that caught the owner’s attention for her modern design and clever use of the space. ISA is a yard that sticks by its pledge to provide Owners with large innovative yachts that express personality and luxury, and this 41-meter is the result of the yard’s desire to propose its own changes, without the restrictions of the current trends. The design of this steel-aluminium motor yacht is based on three fundamental elements: the visual centre back on the stern, an aggressive streamlined bow and the lines linking the stern and the rollbar continued by the two spoilers connecting the main deck with the upper deck. The final result of these apparently contrasting elements offer an extremely balanced appearance and a compact lightweight feel. The interior design will be executed by ISA. Powered by two CAT c18, this 41-meter yacht reaches a max speed of 14 knots. With 1 master and 4 guest cabins, it can accommodate 10 guests. What makes this sale extremely important for ISA is the fact that the customer is a repetitive one. “Our customers are very loyal, which means that the orders we have for new yachts come in the form of repeat business with existing customers or brokers, and this is something that we would like to continue”, says Mr Maggi, the President of sales and marketing at ISA. The delivery of the new ISA 41M CLASSIC is scheduled in early Summer 2013.
ISA 66M GRANTURISMO – Developed from the 65m GT platform, this full displacement custom yacht is the first model of the newly launched GT range. It’s a 4-decks vessel with aluminium superstructure and steel hull which architectural structure is based on a strong contrast between the harmonious and curvaceous lines of the decks and the rigorous and diamond-like geometry of the transom and of the sundeck. Powered by 2 CAT engines, this 66M designed by Andrea Vallicelli, can reach 18 knots max and cruises at 16 knots. With 5 cabin plus the master, it accommodates 12 guests. Thanks to a spectacular stern and an aggressive plum bow, this outstanding 66 meters is destined to become AN ICON YACHT in its segment. The delivery of the ISA 66 GT is scheduled in early Summer 2014.
ISA 54 METERS PROJECT PANORAMA – This is a custom 5-decks steel and aluminium displacement motor yacht designed by Horacio Bozzo. Interior design was commissioned to Studio Massari. The designer choose modern exterior lines and a double-curvature stem hull. The Owner’s deck features a private balcony with access from their stateroom, a wide panoramic office and a large aft deck terrace. The flybridge shares its space with a seven square meter pool, a large dinner table, bar and a forward sun pads relax area. Forward on main deck there is a clever and unusual formal dining area and salon plenty of natural light from generous size hull windows. Aft on main deck there is a salon with full height doors that opens into exterior foldable bulwarks for undisturbed views of the outside. All guest decks including the flybridge are connected by a glass elevator with a rounded stair case around it. A spacious beach club with large foldable stern and side platforms ideal for water toys and tenders docking give also facilitated access to the water by an automatic and gentle-angled submerged stairs. The crew area is connected to the engine room through a corridor in the tank deck giving easy access at all technical areas of the vessel. The main garage is located forward on main deck carrying an 8.3 meter Riva Iseo tender and a 5.5 meter crew tender. The rescue boat and jet skis are located on the foredeck. She will cruise at a speed of 14.5 knots with trans-pacific range. The delivery of this 54m is scheduled in Summer 2014. The successful sale was also enabled by Fernando Nicholson at Camper and Nicholsons.
