The new “After Sales & Refit” division will utilize the huge structures of the shipyard based in Ancona: 50,000 sqm with three covered areas of 13,000 sqm, workshops for any kind of metal works, fibreglass lamination and joinery, technical and administrative offices. The new division, that make use of the know-how of the engineers and workers which built 21 yachts in the last 7 years, also has a technical marina with 10 berths for yachts up to 90 meters in length at works or just in transit. Already at the beginning of this summer the “After Sales & Refit” division gave assistance to the mega yacht Alfa Nero, 82 meters by Oceanco, that choose ISA shipyard for a quick stop for some maintenance. Also Wally decided to make use of the ISA structures for the final outfitting of the 45 meters mega sailer Saudade. The responsible of the new “After Sales & Refit” division is Mr Alfonso Postorino, who has a long time experience in the most important Italian shipyards and will coordinate a highly skilled team. The division was created after the successful execution of some refitting , such as, for example, the latest M/Y SONKA, earlier M/Y April Fool. 10/07/2008 SECOND SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH IN JUNE FOR ISA – ALEXANDAR V The hot season continues for ISA. After only 2 weeks from the launching of the latest ISA 120, the new 48-meter motor yacht ALEXANDAR V is launched. This latest gem of a yacht built by ISA has been launched during a hot Summer morning under a giant white confetti shower and the release of hundreds of white and silver balloons in the sky. The Owner, visibly moved, joined the party on the stage, where there were his family, a large company of his friends, the ISA top management and all the main local authorities. After the speeches and the Owner’s unexpected thanking and greeting, the ceremony traditionally continued with the blessing and the breaking of the bottle. The ALEXANDAR V’s “desert sand” hull and her “oyster white” superstructure stroke all the guests, the two-colored boat is a masterpiece of elegance and style, both on the exterior and on the interiors. With ALEXANDAR V ISA also shows the great potential of its interior department as this yacht was totally made by the teamwork between the owner and the in-house architects Daniele Socci and Rita Luzzi, under the control of Sandro Spaziani in quality of project manager. The interior style is modern and extremely neat and elegant thanks the harmonious color combination made by the use of very precious woods such as ebony, maple and teak and refined marbles. The yacht will be completed, the sea trials carried out and then finally delivered to her owner for her first Summer cruise. The official presentation of the ALEXANDAR V will take place at the imminent Monaco Yacht Show. 17/06/2008 ISA BETWEEN LAUNCHINGS AND COSTA SMERALDA “Thank you so much to all of you and long life and prosperity to ISA” said the owner of M/Y JUNIE, visibly moved after the launching of her boat that took place this morning at ISA shipyard. Around her, her family, Mr Claudio Ivaldi her representative, the ISA staff gathered to celebrate an event that was supposed to be a “technical event”, but that became a very cheerful and moving one. M/Y JUNIE is the newest unit of the composite series ISA 120, which sale was announced only few weeks ago. 36,45 meters in length, this flybridge sporty planning yacht is still selling extremely well thanks to its innovative design and excellent performance. Her interior is a well-balanced mix of classic and modern styles, with veneered and argyle pattern glossy mahogany on the walls and on the frames of doors and windows, and mat wenge on the floor. The bathrooms are finished with pure white Afion on the tops and in Michelangelo marble on the flooring, which can also be heated. With the 2 twin and the 2 double guests staterooms, together with the two-level master stateroom, M/Y JUNIE can accommodate 10 people and 5 crew. The yacht also have a fully equipped sundeck where the owner asked for a Jacuzzi, a sunbed which electrically transforms into a “teppanyaky-style” cooking top and a bar. Despite many boats of this series are already cruising the waters worldwide, units are still growing and JUNIE adds to the list. ISA 120 is a 36.50 meters fibreglass super yacht with an aggressive and innovative look. She perfectly combines style, design, wide volumes hardly found in boats of the same size, and considerable performances, as her maximum speed is in excess of 35 knots. This yacht is yet a further feather in the cap for the now well-established cooperation between ISA and the Vallicelli Studio, which has engendered the much recognized ISA 120 series and the recently announced, gorgeous, 63meter vessel that is sure to intrigue industry insiders and beauty fanatics alike. The “ISA 500” is three-deck super yacht based on the recent 48-meter platform. She has a wonderful mix of aggressive yet sporty bow with wonderfully elegant stern; this added to huge internal and external volumes, put her perfectly in line with the present, increasingly challenging market demands. The hull form amidships has an exciting dynamic and elegant outline which is strengthened by the line of the windows of the full beam accommodation in the hull following, beautifully, the line of the bow. With the order book for International Shipyards Ancona now full, the next possible delivery for one of these exceptional “toys” is 2011. 19/12/2007 ISA’S NEW SALE: IS A 48 METERS, THE “ALEXANDAR V” ISA announces a new commercial positive result with the sale of the ALEXANDAR V, a 48-meter displacement motor yacht in steel and aluminum, which followed a direct transaction between ISA sales manager and a young and dynamic client without intermediaries. The rewarding side of this sale is having achieved the confidence of a new customer, who first showed concrete interest into ISA yachts at the latest edition on the Monaco Yacht Show in September, with a strong feedback at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October. The yard maintains a strict confidentiality on the customers’ name. The 48 meter motor yacht is a special edition of the well-known ISA 47, produced in 7 models, that makes use of a 47-metre naval platform already developed by ISA’s technical staff. The design of the yacht is by Walter Franchini, concept and engineering are by ISA. From a design perspective, The ISA 480 marks a genuine departure from tradition. She has an extraordinary stern with a splendid pair of staircases, connecting all the decks, a real invitation onboard. The yacht will be ready for the delivery in the coming Summer 2008. 25/09/2007 ISA - International Shipyards Ancona is proud to announce the sale of the brand new ISA 630 ISA 630 is a displacement motor yacht designed by Andrea Vallicelli in close cooperation with staff in the ISA design department. Her main features are her very clean and smooth lines, most notably in the sharply raked transom and the extended stem, which together produce an aggressive yet graceful hull form, which reminds one of a sailing yacht. Amidships the washboard forms a graceful curve down aft towards the transom making a dynamic and elegant outline to the vessel. This curve is strengthened by the line of the windows of the full beam accommodation in the hull. The shape of the superstructure is characterized by the volume of the extended deck heads and balconies, providing shade, over the wheelhouse and aft on both the upper and the main decks. The general arrangement of this yacht is based on some primary choices such as making very wide main deck side passages and the use of the continuous main saloon window which finishes aft in a large sliding glass door that integrates these interior and exterior spaces whilst another particular element of this project is the “beach area”. Designed with the precise aim of allowing the owner and guests to spend time close to the water, the “beach area” is made up of the aft swim area and adjoining garage which when the large doors are opened and two tenders launched provides a wide open space that can be reached by the comfortable stairway from the aft main deck. The sundeck is divided into several different areas: forward there is a large pool and sunbathing area, under the space frame roll bar and mast with structural sunshade is a bar area whilst further aft is the panoramic seating area with large comfortable sofas. 06/08/2007 The launch and delivery MY Illusion ISA launches the fifth ISA120 M/Y Illusion at the end of June and delivers her in mid July. The black and white boat featuring darkened walnut highlighted with Lalique inlays stainless steel trim and beveled mirrors throughout the interior. Hull number five of the highly successful composite based ISA 120 series is a one hundred percent custom built project developed from a close cooperation throughout the design, build and up to delivery between the shipyard, the owner’s family (represented by Lady Green), architect Pietro Mingarelli, Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons Monaco, and not least of all Captain Mark Wilkinson. Externally at first sight what differentiates Illusion, from her sister ships is the black stripe running the length of the hull encompassing the portholes along with the stainless steel strip at deck level. Once aboard it is evident that the external deck arrangements and furniture are quite unique. The layout on the fly bridge features a large black mosaic lined Jacuzzi on the centre line fwd flanked by two generous sunbathing areas on each side, totally sheltered from any breeze (notably when cruising up to 35 knots). There is also a bar and a large dining table for eight, a cocktail area and large sunbathing area right aft. All the furnishings have been finished in dark stained teak stained complemented by stainless steel trim and fine fabrics. The main aft deck is finished in the same style again with dining for eight or cocktails at the high low table. Whilst the external styling does not substantially alter the style of the ISA 120’ series,the interior of Illusion is uncharacteristic of the range. The interior loose and built in joinery is in darkened ( almost black ) walnut with dominant highlights in Lalique inlays ( integrated into the furniture and backlit in the master and VIP ), stainless steel trim, beveled mirrors and fine leather ceilings throughout dining and coffee tables are glass topped with mirrored bases which give them the appearance of being transparent. 01/06/2007 ISA confirms its purposes and carries on its rise to the highest heights of the construction of megayachts worldwide. After the huge success of the ISA 120, with 7 boats sold and an important prize for her fantastic and innovative design, after the Aquamarina’s big surprise, with her unprecedented painting and style variety, ISA confirms its position on the cutting edge for its products’ innovation, style and quality. In confirmation of this, ISA is proud to announce the sale of the brand new ISA 600, a twin screw displacement motoryacht 60,50 meters long and 12 meters beam, that, in terms of dimension, this is the largest motoryacht ever built by the ISA shipyard in Ancona. With its steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the new ISA 600 is build up on 5 decks. Thanks to 2 Caterpillar 3512 C DITA-SCAC diesel engines, this gem of a megayacht has a max speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The successful sale, masterfully managed by Marcello Maggi and his staff, was also enabled by the YPI’s great skill. 29/05/2007 ISA: brand new corporate image Brand new advertising campaign and website, this are the biggest news of ISA’s communication strategy for the year 2007. The advertising campaign is focused on the dream, the dream that every client choosing ISA as their preferred partner will realise. The first part of the campaign is centred on the ISA 120: it starts from the picture of the whole boat and ends with the copious architectural details that this yacht is rich in. The claim in English plays on words: ISA KIND OF MAGIC, ISA WOMEN’S BEST FRIENDS, and many others that will be soon released. The corporate colours have been changed from navy blue & silver to white & silver, an association of colours which is usually associated to something ethereal, to the dream and to emotionalism, the common thread of the communication strategy. It is very dynamic, rich in contents, in renderings of future projects, in photos of all ISA products, people and premises, because behind any dream there are ideas and people. The name, chosen by the owners, has an oriental origin and is indicates a blue precious gem with good-luck charm. After a simple ceremony with the traditional blessing and the bottle rite, the gorgeous yacht was launched under her captain’s and the ISA staff’s eyes. This yacht, part of the ISA 120 series, is fruit of the cooperation between ISA and the Cristiano Gatto Design Team, who designed the classical interiors. High speed is one of MY FIROUZEH’s main feature. This planning 36.45-meter composite-based yacht has a maximum speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots and is powered by 3 engines MTU 2000 hp, driving 2 lateral water jets and a central booster jet. The hull of the first ISA 480, the motor yacht which develops from the well known ISA 470 - which gave and will give ISA a lot of approval - has been delivered to the yard. The big steel build was immediately assembled to the aluminium superstructure, built inside the ISA facilities, showing the huge construction overall. The delivery is scheduled in July 2008. The ISA 480.1 is an highly innovative project, in fact systems of the latest generation will be installed onboard thus making the ISA 480 the prototype of the so-called “clever boat”, the remarkable project that ISA is pioneering. 03/03/2007 Ti Voglio Tanto Bene from ISA Bold The second launch in 2007. -Bold TVTB (I love you) is not the prolongation of the recent Valentine’s Day but the name of the new mega-yacht launched by ISA early this week. This marvellous 41,40 metres planing maxi yacht gracefully glided on the water under the yard staff’s eyes, with a simple but traditional ceremony. This fibreglass yacht is further evolution of the ISA 133 series, the line built up to the third motor yacht, which will be named ISA 136. With a higher bulwark, which makes it more streamlined, TVTB is a very interesting yacht where elegant lines combine with high performances: it reaches a maximum speed of 32 knots, when boats of the same size are on the average of 26 knots. This project, fruit of the well-established team-work between ISA and the Cristiano Gatto Design Team, stands out for its reassessment of the internal areas ensuring wider horizons, especially in the owner’s. “Every decorative and shape choice has to allow the eyes to flow and every material has to satisfy the guests’ desire for details and elegance. An elegant calm without minimalisms, is what the owner seeks with this project; a true challenge, a research in the tradition for a very fascinating project”, Gatto says. This maxi yacht stands out for the liveability of the common areas, with three decks, three cabins, a gym, a private office and a spectacular 45 sq meter owner’s cabin, equipped with a Turkish bath. Modern interiors, precious materials combination, with maple frisé coating well matched with wengé, doors in spotted banana tree wood, details in polished and braided leather. Extremely innovative solutions feature onboard such as the lighting-technique with spectacular effects like the curtain that changes colour and is converted into a séparé in the owner cabin and the light falls enclosing the round internal staircase. In short: the ability to enhance the typical features of Bold Made in Italy. -Bold 18/01/2007 ISA launches My Gemini, the fourth gem of the ISA120 series ISA launched the motoryacht GEMINI, the fourth hull of the award-winning ISA 120 series. MY GEMINI, like the nearly all the models of the series, is the result of the close cooperation of ISA team, the architect Vallicelli and the Cristiano Gatto Design team the interior designer. MY GEMINI is a composite-based planning hull of 36,40 meters powered by three MTU gas turbines which push it up to a max speed in excess of 30 knots. This three-deck boat has many distinctive features: a lower deck with the four large and well lit guest cabins located in the central to central forward section; on the main deck with the owner’s cabin, located slightly forward of midships and extending the full beam on a split level distribution, and in the aft section a large saloon which opens on the cockpit which becomes its natural extension. The space system with a symmetrical layout demonstrates a research for a functional, logical and practical design which is appropriate to the naval requirements of such a boat. The interior décor is classical and based on a mixture of glossy mahogany and geometrical carpets. This is a new solution for a yacht which goes well with any style. Shining golden accessories, with precious elements by Serdaneli, decorate the bathrooms. The Hermès and Ivory leathers cover the areas creating a soft atmosphere, which is already warmed by the mahogany panels.
